Arrival and departure
You will be met by a member of the Arts Apartments staff, and this will be your contact person for information. They will show you how things work in the apartment and answer any questions you might have.
1. Together with the confirmation of your reservation, Arts Apartments will send you an e-mail containing all the information you will need for your arrival in Barcelona:
. Location and address of the apartment
. The contact telephone number for Arts Apartments so that you can call to confirm your arrival in Barcelona
2. Please reply to this mail as soon as possible confirming your arrival time in Barcelona, so that we can arrange to meet you at the apartment with the keys, etc.
3. Please call the telephone number given in the e-mail to confirm your time of arrival at the apartment. Call us when you are approaching Barcelona if you are coming by car or just before you leave the airport if you are flying. As you know many flights are delayed and so that way we can avoid unnecessary waits. Arrivals later than 9pm may be subject to a surcharge of ?30.
4. When you arrive at the apartment, the Arts Apartments agent or the owner will give you:
. The keys to the apartment
. A tour of the apartment
. Instruction of how to use the equipment in the apartment, such as air conditioning, washing machine, cooker, etc.
. Explanations of certain points in the neighbourhood such as the supermarket, metro stop, rubbish collection point and other general local information.
. The Arts Apartments agent will receive from you the remainder of the payment and the deposit in cash.
5. During your stay in the apartment we ask you to contact Arts Apartments IMMEDIATELY if there is anything damaged, broken or missing, or if you accidentally break something, so that we can put thing right. We want you to enjoy your stay and not to have to worry about something which can be repaired or replaced.
6. Contact us during our office hours for any information you need, such as suggestions for restaurants, directions in case you are lost, or just if you have any questions about the apartment or Barcelona in general.
7. You should depart before 11am. If you need to leave later, please let us know before your arrival and we will do everything we can to accommodate your wishes (as long as the next arrival is not on the same day). A member of Arts Apartments will be in the apartment at the agreed time to collect the keys and return your deposit, minus any cost of repairs or replacements where necessary.
8. If you let us know in advance, we can call a taxi for you when you leave the apartment.
